South of the Atlas on the way to Merzouga there are various fossil museums.Â
We know the Tahiri Museum and we definitely recommend it. But not only the museum – for some money, you are allowed to see behind the scenes. They take you into the workshop of the museum and you are allowed to watch how fossils are found in the stones and cleaned.
